A method of drilling and installing a pile in ground comprising the steps of: i. providing a pile (2); ii. providing a drill bit (7) at an end of the pile (2) rotatable relative to the pile; iii. engaging the ground with the drill bit (7); and iv rotating the drill bit (7) relative to the ground and the pile (2) generating a hole into which the pile (2) is received.
