They may have the formula where X is -CH 2 OH, -CH 2 NH 2 or -CHO. They may be used as anti-inflammatory, antalgic and anti-pyretic medicines. Pyridoxine flufenamate is obtained by reacting flufenamic acid with pyridoxine in methanol. The material may be administered in the form of tablets, capsules, syrup, granules or suppositories with excipients. Examples are given.
