<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk brake for pin slide type vehicle which can prevent a brake vocal phenomenon permanently from the initial quality condition to the abrasion limit condition of brake pads. SOLUTION: This disk brake for pin slide type vehicle consists by providing a cylinder part 8 and a claw part 9 in the opposing condition through a disk rotor, to a caliper striding on a disk rotor, and by providing a pair of brake pads which can be pressure contacted on both side surfaces of the disk rotor, between the cylinder part 8 and the claw part 9. In such a disk brake, the side surfaces 15 of the disk rolling-in side and the disk rolling-out side of the friction members of the brake pads are formed vertical to the disk rotor, and the side surfaces 15 of the disk rolling-in side and the disk rolling-out side of the friction members are housed in the disk opposing surfaces of the craw 9, on the orthogonal line L passing through the pressing center M of the cylinder 8, and orthogonal to the center line P in the disk radial direction.</p> |
