<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester fiber for reinforcing rubber, excellent in resis tance to heat bonding to rubber by applying an adhesion solution obtained by adding an oxazoline compound to resorcin/formaldehyde/rubber latex solution to a polyester fiber subjected to a specific treatment. SOLUTION: An adhesive solution obtained by adding an oxazoline compound represented by the formula [(a), (b), (c) and (d) are each an integer of >=1] to an RFL obtained by mixing resorcin-formaldehyde initial condensation product with rubber latex and aging the mixture is impregnated into a polyester fiber surface-treated with a finishing oil solution containing an epoxy compound having >=2 epoxy groups in one molecule, e.g. glycerol polyglycidyl ether or the above epoxy compound and a blocked isocyanate compound, e.g. polyester- based blocked isocyanate, and then the treated polyester fiber is heat-treated to provide the objective polyester fiber for reinforcing rubbers.</p> |
