PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for electric discharge plasma sintering which can prevent the occurrence of defect such as crack in the die and a sintered body and can obtain the excellent sinterability. SOLUTION: This die 1 is constituted of an outer die 2, first inner die 3 and second inner die 4. The outer die 2 is formed into a cylinder shape, and in the inner part thereof, the first hollow part 21 and the second hollow part 22 communicating through the first hollow part are formed. The cross sectional area of the second hollow part 22 is smaller than the cross sectional area of the first hollow part 21, and a step part 23 is formed in this boundary. In the first hollow part 21 and the second hollow part 22, the first inner die 3 and the second inner die 4 are inserted respectively. At the upper end part of the first inner die 3, a conical recessed part 31 is formed as the forming space, and at the outer peripheral part of an opening part 32 of the recessed part 31, an engaging part 34 engaged with the step part 23 is formed. The shape of the opening part 32 is almost equal to the shape of the lower end surface of the second inner die 4. |
