<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject shock absorber capable of directly converting generated vibrations into friction loss to achieve quiet operations and improve work environments by disposing a support component surrounding the rotary shaft of a rotor on a friction partner. SOLUTION: A friction partner 36 whose position can be changed in the radial direction has a support component 56 surrounding the rotary shaft of a rotor. The support component 56 is formed as a part of a rolling bearing, as an aerostatic bearing or as a slide bearing bush 30, and an intermediate plate 32 is preferably disposed between the friction partners 28, 36.</p> |
