PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a sensitivity, an image reproducibility and ink coating properties of a printing element part by incorporating titanium oxide fine particles and/or zinc oxide fine particles in a hydrophilic layer, thereby enhanc ing removability of the layer by ablation. SOLUTION: In the case of covering a surface with a water thin film of a dampening water to be supplied at the time of printing to bring it into contact with an ink of an emulsion state, an adherence of lipophilic ink particles is prevented, and a titanium oxide and/or a zinc oxide is contained in the hydrophilic layer for forming a non-image part on a printed matter to develop good hydrophilic property. As the titanium oxide, an anatase type for facilitating its atomization is better as the oxide. As the zinc oxide, a hexagonal system is better. It is best about 50 to 80 wt.% with respect to total solid content in the hydrophilic layer as a blending ratio of the titanium oxide and/or zinc oxide. As an immobilizing method of the titanium oxide or the zinc oxide in the hydrophilic layer, there is a method for blending a wet curable or ultraviolet curable type immobilizing agent at the time of coating with the layer. |
