PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a glass panel capable of disposing a distance-retaining member without requiring much labor and avoiding the concentration of stresses accompanied by the plate glass-holding force of the distance-retaining member by arranging plural wire-like materials in one direction along the plate surface of the glass plates at a distance each other as the distance-retaining member and further arranging plural wire-like materials in the other direction. SOLUTION: This glass panel is obtained by disposing a distance-retaining member 4 between a pair of glass plates 2A, 2B and disposing an outer periphery-closing member 2a over the whole outer edge periphery of both the glass plates 2A, 2B and closing a space portion 3 between both the glass plates 2A, 2B. The distance-retaining member 4 is formed by arranging plural wire-like materials 5A in one direction in an equal distance along the plate surfaces of both glass plates 2A, 2B and subsequently arranging the other plural wire-like materials 5B in the direction orthogonal to the wire-like materials 5A in an equal distance in a lattice shape. It is convenient on handling that the lattice-like wire-like materials 5A, 5B are adhered to each other at crossed points with an adhesive to form the lattice shape. |
