PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen a load on a heater by decreasing a heat loss by a method wherein a heat exchanger is arranged in an exhaust channel on a garbage decomposing tank side from a deodorizing device, and an exhaust heat of an exhaust gas having passed the deodorizing device is recovered through the heat exchager. SOLUTION: A blower 1 and a deodorizing device for deodorizing by heating an odor are arranged in an exhaust channel 7 communicated to a garbage decomposing tank 6. Then, a gas is exhausted through the exhaust channel 7 by driving the blower 1, an air containing the odor is sent to a deodorizing device 2 via a heat exchanger 8, heated at a high temperature of about 200 to 300 deg.C with a heater 3 of the deodorizing device 2, and the odor is deodorized by bringing the air heated at the high temperature in contact with a catalyst 4. The exhaust gas at the high temperature exhausted from the deodorizing device 2 is sent to the heat exchanger 8, heat-exchanged with an air just before sending to the deodorizing device 2 by the heat exchanger 8, the air warmed by robbing the heat exchanger 8 of an exhaust heat is fed to the deodorizing device 2, the exhaust heat is recovered so that the temperature becomes lower with the heat exchanger 8, and the exhaust gas is discharged. |
