PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare the subject composition capable of exhibiting excellent incombustibility and foam stability due to the uniform dispersion of a flame retardant and useful for soundproofing and vibration proofing materials, etc., by blending a specific olefin-based resin blend with a bromine-based flame retardant, antimony trioxide, a thermal decomposition-type foaming agent and a crosslinking agent. SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. olefin- based resin comprising (A1 ) an ethylene-based resin obtained by polymerization in the presence of a metallocene compound containing a tetravalent transition metal and having a density of 0.840-0.900 g/cm<3> [e.g. having a soluble matter content of 20-80 wt.% in o-chlorobenzene solvent by cross-fractionation] and 50-90 wt.% propylene-based resin with (B) 1-100 pts.wt. bromine-containing compound containing >=35 wt.% bromine, (C) 0.1-20 pts.wt. antimony trioxide, (D) 1-50 pts.wt. thermal decomposition-type foaming agent and (E) 0.5-10 pts.wt. crosslinking agent. |
