1368476 Dyeing cellulose with azoic and reactive dyes FARBWERKE HOECHST AG 19 Nov 1971 [20 Nov 1970] 53973/71 Addition to 1368128 Heading D1B Yarns and sliver of cellulose fibres in the form of a wound package are impregnated with an aqueous liquor comprising an alkaline substance, one or more azo coupling componets and one or more reactive dyes, the package then being injected with one or more weakly acidic solutions each comprising one or more diazomium compounds each derived from an aromatic amine, the reactive dyes being fixed either before or after the injection of the weakly acidic solutions by dwelling at a temperature of from room temperature to 60‹C. The alkaline substance is preferably sodium hydroxide and the reactive dyes preferably contain a vinylsulphonyl group or a group which forms a vinylsulphonyl group in alkali. The preferred coupling components are arylamides of aromatic or heterocyclic-ohydroxy-carboxylic acids or of acylacetic acids or aromatic or heterocyclic hydroxy compounds, or a compound containing an enolizable or enolized ketomethylene group in a heterocyclic ring. Impregnation may be effected at 20 to 70‹C followed if desired by drying at temperatures up to 100‹C. |
