There is disclosed an aminobenzenesulfonic acid derivative of the formula: wherein R1 represents hydrogen atom, a C1 - C6 alkyl group, a C3 - C7 cycloalkyl group, a C1 - C4 halogenated alkyl group, a halogen atom or a C6 - C12 aryl group, R2 represents hydrogen atom, a C1 - C6 alkyl group or a C7 C12 aralkyl group which may have at least one substituent selected from cyano group, nitro group, C1 - C6 alkoxy groups, halogen atoms, C1 - C6 alkyl groups and amino groups, and n represents an integer of 1 to 4, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The compound has an activity of inhibiting Ca2+ overload into cells and is useful as a medicine for cardiovascular diseases.
