PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming material for avoiding a deterioration of a sensitivity, an image quality, an increase in a size of an apparatus, an increase in a cost by improving durability of the material, and to provide a method for forming an image by using it, and a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: The image forming material 5 comprises an image forming layer 2 containing a metal powder colorant for absorbing a wavelength light of an exposure light source to be dispersed in a resin binder on a transparent support 1 in such a manner that an ablation occurs by illuminating a high density energy light to the layer 2. In this case, a protective layer 4 having a polymer latex at 50 deg.C or higher of a lowest film forming temperature is laminated on the layer 2. |
