PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culturing, rearing and preserving agent for fishes and shellfishes which can simply be produced even by using usual tap water and is water exclusively used as that for culturing, rearing and preservation of the fishes and shellfishes and having a higher nutritive value than that of natural freshwater and natural seawater conventionally used in culturing, rearing, etc., of the fishes and shellfishes. SOLUTION: This culturing, rearing and preserving agent for fishes and shellfishes is obtained by respectively adding nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and fibrous materials, etc., respectively contained in fallen leaves selected from any one or more plants belonging to the families Daphniphyllaceae, Aceraceae, Moraceae, Fagaceae, Magnoliaceae, Juglanddaceae, Salicaceae, Ulmaceae, Lauraceae, Theaceae, Rosaceae, Vitaceae, Ericaceae and Compositae and algae selected from any one or more plants of the classes Rhodophyceae, Phaceophyceae, Chlorophyceae and Spermatophyta in an amount of 1-20% to freshwater of natural water and/or tap water and feeding oxygen simultaneously with irradiation of sunlight for 3-48 h. |
