PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant polyester resin compsn. being excellent in appearance, color tone and glossiness of the surface of a molded article and also in toughness and heat resistance, and a home electrical appliance comprising the same. SOLUTION: A flame-retardant polyester resin compsn. is such one that it comprises 100 pts.wt. of an aromatic polyester, 3-60 pts.wt. of a brominated polycarbonate, and 0.01-4 pts.wt. of a phosphorus compd. wherein the brominated polycarbonate has as a carbonate unit a brominated bisphenol A, an average number of the repeating unit of 3-7, the ends blocked with 2,4,6-tribromophenyl groups and an m.p. of 185 deg.C-250 deg.C. |
