PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate cleaning of a mold chamber even at the time of a low temperature state of the mold. SOLUTION: The vent hole opening/closing valve apparatus for opening/ closing a vent hole of a mold having a molding chamber comprises a vent base 1 having a vent hole H, an opening/closing valve body 2 movable by a first means S1 to open the hole H with an upper end face 8 positioned substantially in plane with an inner surface of the mold at the time of closing the hole H, and a second means S provided to close the hole H in such a manner that, in the state that the mold becomes substantially at a high temperature to become a molding temperature, the hole H is opened by the means S1, a molding material in the chamber is brought into contact with the end face 8 of the body 2 and closed by pushing the body 2. Meanwhile, in the state that the mold is lower temperature than the mold temperature, the hole H is closed by the means S2 so that the chamber is easily cleaned therein. |
