PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating coil which can hardly develop the warp a heating material, at the time of executing the high frequency induction hardening to the heated material having almost U-shape in the cross section and extended in a prescribed direction. SOLUTION: One pair of almost U-shaped inside conductors 22 and 24 faced to inside surface layers 14a and 16a of one pair of side walls 14 and 16 of a steel-made member, are formed as the induction heating coil 20. Further, one pair of almost U-shaped outside conductors 26 and 28 faced to the outside surface layers 18a at the boundary portion of each of one pair of side walls 14 and 16 and a bottom wall 12, are formed as the induction heating coil 20.
