<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of an adjuster device to regulate the clearance between the brake shoe of an air type unit brake and a wheel which are installed to a railroad rolling stock. SOLUTION: An air chamber 100 to be an actuator to press a brake shoe to a wheel is installed to a carriage side, and it transmits the operation of a diaphragm 110 operated by the air fed from an air feeding port 101, to the brake shoe through a shaft 130 and a rod 40. The shaft 130 is rotating supported to the diaphragm 110 side through a bearing 132, and the male screw 42 of the rod 40 is screwed to a female screw 134. On the outer peripheral surface of the shaft 130, plural vertical grooves 152 are formed on the circumference, and a deep groove 153 is provided at its end. The deep groove 153 and the neighboring vertical grooves 152 are connected by an oblique groove 152. A claw member 170 is engaged to the groove, and when the stroke of the shaft 130 exceeds a specific value, the shaft 130 is rotated and the rod 40 is extended.</p> |
