<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding rod giving a high weld strength, when welding PAS molded products to each other, and to provide a PAS molded product welded with the welding rod and having a high weld strength. SOLUTION: This welding rod for polyarylene sulfide molded products comprises (A) 100-0 pt.wt. of a branched polyarylene sulfide having a melt- viscosity V6 of 200-50,000 poises and a non-Newtonian index N of >=1.15 and (B) 0-100 pts.wt. of a thermally oxidatively cross-linked polyarylene sulfide having a melt viscosity V6 of 200-20,000 poises and a non-Newtonian index N of 1.1-2.0 and further satisfying the equality: log [the melt viscosity V6 of the thermally oxidatively cross-linked polyarylene sulfide]/log [the melt viscosity6 of the polyarylene sulfide B before thermally oxidatively treated into the thermally oxidatively cross-linked polyarylene sulfide]=1.01 to 1.55.</p> |
