PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rotary drum device with the driving of the drum and the structure of a lid opening and closing mechanism simplified and excellent in durability. SOLUTION: A horizontally arranged drum 3 is rotatably supported through a shaft 10 in the axial direction, a lid 15 for opening and closing an opening 14 is pivoted by a pivot 16 on the side edge of the opening 14 provided in a shell 7 of the drum 3, a free rotating member 17 attached to the shaft 10 of the drum 3 is interlocked with a rotating machine 4, the free rotating member 17 is interlocked with the pivot 16 of the lid 15, the free rotating member 17 is rotated by driving the rotating machine 4 to open or close the lid 15, and the rotation of the free rotating member 17 is transmitted to the drum 3 when an opening 14 is opened or closed by the lid 15. Consequently, the drum 3 is driven and the lid 15 is opened or closed only by providing the free rotating member 17 to the drum 3. |
