摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting method of the zero point of reduction in a plate mill in which the accurate adjustment of the zero point of reduction leveling is possible. SOLUTION: In a zero point adjusting method of screw-down position of a multi roll mill of four or more stages, kiss-roll clamping is executed by operating the screw-down device 22 in the state where the rotation of rolls 14a, 14b, 16a, 16b is stopped and screw-down positions when the measured values of clamping load with load cells 24 for measuring rolling load which are arranged on the work side and drive side of a plate mill become prescribed zero point adjusting load respectively are defined as the zero points.</p>
