Photographic material for colour image as in claim 1 BE 729204 and comprising 3 image forming elements for yellow magenta and blue green esp. is modified in that the component which filters the U.V. and the blue, instead of being associated with the yellow image forming element as in original patent, is used separately in an exterior photographic filter. This filter absorbs all radiation of wave lengths 375 nm. to which the Ag halide in the yellow image forming element is sensitive and selectively absorbs radiation of wave lengths >375 nm. When exposed through the filter the yellow image forming element gives a continuous curve with no angular point and which exhibits the following sensitivity characteristics a) maximum at is approx. 450 nm. b) 80% of a) between 441-458 nm. c) 40% of a) between 429-472 nm. and d) 10% of a) between 412-498 nm.
