PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit safe and quick replacement of an illumination lamp in an elevator car with no such a condition that the inside of the car is dark. SOLUTION: A lighting system in an elevator car, comprises an illuminator 4 provided in an elevator car, for always illuminating the interior of the car, a lamp 5 for illuminating the interior of the car, which is turned on upon power failure so as to illuminate the interior of the car, and a power cut-off switch 2 for cutting off power supply to the illuminator 4 and turning on the lamp 5. With this arrangement, the power supply to the illuminator 4 in the elevator car is cut off, and simultaneously, the lamp 5 is turned on. Thus, the car becomes bright, thereby it is possible to carry out safe and quick working. |
