PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft system for vehicle that can change the time for generating the alarm sound without a water-proof structure, or without accompanying the deteriorated operability even if a remote controller is used therewith. SOLUTION: This anti-theft system, having sensors 2, 3 for detecting the change of posture of the vehicle, and a siren 4, is configured such that when the change of the posture is detected with signals from the sensors 2, 3 the siren 4 generates the alarm. This system is provided with a power supply detection means 15, a time detection means 17 for detecting the time from when a main switch 8 is turned ON to when it is turned OFF, and an alarm generation time setting means 16 for setting the time during which the alarm is generated from the siren 4. This system is also provided with a control means 11 which generates the alarm during the period from when the main switch 8 is turned ON to when it is turned OFF after power supply is detected with the signals from the power supply detection means 15, detects the time from when the main switch 8 is turned ON to when it is turned OFF with the signals from a time detection means 17, and overwrites a setting time of the alarm generation time setting means 16 with this detection time. |
