The dispenser consists of a vertical cylindrical tube clamped to the horizontal beer delivery pipe by a bracket and connection piece. The user extracts the lowest beaker in the stack by pulling it downwards. The beaker can then be placed under the adjacent spout and the lever operated to fill the beaker.
