PURPOSE:To relax the shock in magnetization by providing the layers of nonmagnetic bodies at the inside periphery of a magnetizing cylinder and at the outside periphery of a rotor, and grinding each layer to set the dimension of the gap between the rotor and the magnetizing cylinder to approximately several microns. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 14 us used for a precision pneumatic bearing type motor. The periphery is coated with a nonmagnetic resin material, and by the grinding, a resin material layer 17 with a desired thickness is formed. A similar layer 11 is made in the inside periphery, too, of a magnetizing cylindrical core 10, and the dimension of the gap between both is set small to the extent of several microns. Doing it this way, it is possible to avoid the defects for the rotor in a precision pneumatic bearing type motor, such as the slippage between end plates 20a and 20b and the center axis of the rotor 14, the distortion of the peripheral shape of the rotor 14, etc., when a large current is applied to a coil 12 for magnetization. |
