In a communication system wherein mobile telephones utilise H.323 communications access, H.323 service configuration is allowed by a WAP gateway associated with a combined GSM base station and H.323 gateway. The WAP gateway communicates by HTTP with a web server to provide a HTML based interface for H.323 service configuration by the mobile telephone user.
