A barstool accessory for temporarily converting a barstool (16) into a table comprises a circular tabletop (10) having a dependent skirt (12) for fitting over the top of a barstool. The interior surface of the skirt (12) has means for gripping the periphery of the barstool to stabilise the accessory on the barstool.
