The invention relates to a method for testing overhead power lines to permit the detection of defects. The method consists in measuring and recording electromagnetic signals near an overhead line by means of an antenna (A). The recorded signals are analyzed in at least two frequency bands in the frequency response and/or time range. In addition, other information, such as the position, any spoken text, etc. is recorded synchronously with the electromagnetic signals. The invention further relates to a device for carrying out this method. |
