<p>PURPOSE: To allow performing all branching to wiring harnesses within an electrical connection box, and further corresponding to increase/decrease in the number of branches. CONSTITUTION: Electric wire inlets 16a-16f are formed on the sides of the case 16 of an electrical connection box 15, and connector insertion holes 16g-16l are formed on the top of the case 16 in such a way that they are positioned right above the electric wires in the case 16. Connectors 20g-20l house pressing terminals 21A-21C that are crimped onto the crimp portions 21a of the cores of electric wires 22a-22d to be branched, and that have pressing blades 21b, which cut into the insulating covering on the electric wires 18a-18h in the case, and press against their cores. The connectors 20g-20l are inserted into the connector insertion holes 16g-16l. The pressing terminals 21A-21C are thereby pressed against the cores of the electric wires 18a-18h. Thus, the electric wires to be branched are branched and connected to the electric wires in wiring harnesses through the pressing terminals.</p> |
