<p>Automatic regulation of a high frequency heating system operates so that as the return circuit capacitance varies, due to the fusion of material beneath the welding foot, a variable condenser is adjusted to main circuit balance at the power output to which the circuit is initially tuned. Process is used esp. for supplying power to a heat sealing tool for welding thermoplastics, maintaining max. welding power, and offering automatic adjustment to maintain proper fusion conditions when welding materials of varying thickness.</p> |
