<p>A continuous profile features a bent or curved bridge between a pair of skirted box channels each enclosing a captive metal strip and open along the underside to allow injection of a mastic to bind the metal strips to a surface butting against the profile. Prod. is used esp. for sealing and masking expansion joints, esp. between adjacent concrete or metal clad panels, is lighter and cheaper than metal seal strips, and forms a better joint with common mastics than an all plastic strip.</p> |
