<p>A visual user interface comprising a number of areas of fixed size and position is used for generating home pages or other publications, for WWW conferences, or other uses, and where a number of users use the same user interface. Providing limits on the user's ability to define the user interface provides a much more simple and manageable user interface easily learned by non-skilled users and easily adapted to different regional or national habits. The user interface of different users will have the same areas, and these areas will be used in the same manner, but the users may position these differently on the user interface. The different areas are reserved to different operations, whereby a number of different operations may be performed at the same time - and that even on a very small screen, such as low-resolution screens for e.g. small computers or mobile telephones.</p> |
