The adjustment device includes a slide carriage (12) supporting the plate on the lower frame and set between the lower frame (2) and the tabletop (3) and able to move axially at right angles to the swivel axis (A). The lower frame and plate each contain one guide groove (21, 22) which run inclined to each other. The slide carriage is supported in the guide grooves by slide members (15,16) attached to the carriage and engaging in the grooves.
