The attachment device has a cylindrical tubular end part (8) which can be pushed into a boring (9) of the piston store of shock absorber. It carries a seal on its end region to fit in the boring, and engages with a bar (13) in a guide transverse to the end part, fitting in a groove (12) round the end part behind the seal.
