An adjustable device (10) for hanging a wire-supported object on a wall (W), which comprises a first bar (12) for attachment to the wall in a horizontal position, a second bar (16) perpendicular to the first bar and having a hook for accepting a wire secured to the object to be hung, and a connector (14) with channels that hold the bars for sliding movement relative to each other. A spring-loaded pin (40) on the connector is accepted into openings in the bars to lock them into the position that places the object on the desired position.
