HORIZONTAL DEFLECTION CIRCUIT

To stabilize the operation of a horizontal deflection output, a horizontal deflection circuit device has a first parallel circuit (P1) including a first switching element (11), a first damper diode (12) and a first resonance capacitor (13), a second parallel circuit (P2) including a second switching element (21), a second damper diode (22) and a second resonance capacitor (23), a horizontal deflecting yoke (2) connected to the second parallel circuit (P2), and a fly-back transformer (1), so as to combining pulses from the first and second parallel circuits (P2) and thereby to generate a deflecting current. The circuit further has a second integrating circuit (16) for integrating an input horizontal deflection drive signal, first and second comparing/latching circuits (17 and 27) for comparing the signal from the integrating circuit (16) with first and second levels and for latching it, first and second drive circuits (19 and 29) for driving the first and second switching elements (11 and 21), and control means for controlling the second level.
