The pillow is specially shaped for supporting the side and back of the head which is further supported by side wings. The neck spinal column is expanded with the head in a side and back position by pre-tensioning the pillow in combination with an existing hollow cavity. The neck area is provided with a dry warm temperature by means of sheep's wool. The face and ears are left free by the head being in a side position.
