<p>A method and device for cleaning contaminated gases, particularly exhaust gases from combustion engines are based on causing the gas in a cross sectionally ring shaped flow path (8) to form a screw line shaped vortex motion. This flow path is terminated at an end wall (11), in the area in which the gas is forced to describe an inwardly directed spiral motion and then to enter an inner flow path (12) disposed centrally inside the cross sectionally ring shaped flow path (8). In the inner flow path (8) the screw line shaped rotational motion continues.</p> |
