Three-dimensional video image generation device

The device has 2 imaging channels, each using a video camera (1a,1b) provided with an imaging lens (2a,2b) and a CCD matrix sensor (3a,3b). A common camera control (6), receives the parallel output signals from the image sensors in alternation, under control of a switch (8) operated in synchronism with the blanking intervals between odd and even half frames of the video image. An Independent claim for a 3-dimensional video image generation method is also included.
