Minoxidil compositions for external use lowered in the irritation to the skin, which contain at least one antihistaminic agent selected from among chlorpheniramine maleate, diphenylimidazole, diphen-hydramine and salts thereof in an amount of 0.01 to 2 parts by weight per part by weight of minoxidil.
