The valve gear has a slide(3) which on one section of its length is designed so that, in combination with correspondingly arranged bores(22,23) or ports in the slide housing(4), in its end positions it connects one of the two lines for working fluid(39,40) to the inlet(5) or outlet(6,7), and in its middle position connects both lines to the inlet. The slide has two faces(10,13) of equal size acted upon by pressure, and two smaller faces(11,12) of different size. Bores(20,21,24,25) in the slide housing are permanently allocated to the aforementioned faces.
