The invention relates to a serrated clamp collar for cables, sheathed cables and flexible and rigid pipes, comprising a base part and a U-shaped closing element which can be latched together by means of interlocking teeth. The U-shaped closing element is movably positioned on the base part by means of a hinge so that when the teeth interlock the U-shaped closing element partly or fully encloses or overlaps the base part. The U-shaped closing element protrudes beyond the base part axially in the direction of closure and at its end has a slightly curved hook element which when closed forms a clamping ring. The number of interlocking rows of teeth makes it possible to vary the height of the receiving chamber embodied between the U-shaped closing element and the support or base plate.
