A conveyor which has a casing (2) and an endless conveyor belt (9) arranged circularly within that casing (2). The conveyor belt (9) is provided with a pair of roller chains (11) attached to the two sides of the belt (9). The roller chains (11) have many rollers (13). The casing (2) is provided with a lower split body (14) and an upper split body (15) fixed to the lower split body (15). The lower split body (14) has a pair of press-formed side frames (17, 18). Each of the side frames (17, 18) has a lower supporting section (20) and an upper supporting section (22) both for supporting the rollers (13). In other words, part of the casing (2) constitutes the roller supporting sections (20, 22). This serves to facilitate the manufacture of conveyors and to save the manufacturing cost by reducing the number of steps in the process for manufacturing conveyors.
