A way in which to roof circular enclosures such as bullrings and other entertainment or sports enclosures. The roof is characterized in that it has the form of a pyramidal cupola (dome). Its faces are composed of low- density translucent or transparent panels. The upper part of the pyramid is composed of movable panels 8 of triangular shape which are able to move on rails 12 parallel to one another and to be superposed over the fixed panels 6 which form the lower part (Figure 1), thus leaving the upper part of the pyramid exposed to the weather when environmental conditions are suitable, said upper part being closed (Figure 2) when environmental conditions are unsuitable. The structure of the movable panels has supports rolling on rails 12 in the fixed carrying structure moved by AC gear motors supplied by a frequency converter and governed from a programmable automaton (robot). <IMAGE>
