The obturator consists of a cylindrical plastic body 1 with means for mounting on the corresponding neck of the receptacle 11 containing a product to be evaporated, this cylindrical body 1 having a concentric, axial neck 5 which accommodates a wick 7, part of which is housed inside the receptacle containing the product to be evaporated and another part of which emerges outside in order to allow the evaporation of the product which, through capillary action, reaches said outer part. The novel aspect lies in the fact that the wick 7 is fastened by means of being pressed by the actual neck 5 when the latter is constricted by means of external fins 8 emerging from the actual body 1 of the obturator, said fins forming part of the latter and being able to flex in order to occupy an upper, inoperative position or a position in which they project radially inwards in order to restrict the neck 5 and to fix the wick 7 inside it. <IMAGE>
