A sleeve (H) is driven into the grund until earth (E) penetrates the sleeve. This penetrated earth is then pressed down from above and compressed, thus clamping the sleeve in the ground which itself splays out a ground claw (K) on the sleeve (H). Thus the sleeve acts as its own driver (H) with the claw (K) fitted to the sleeve walls (3) between sleeve top (2) and bottom ends (1). The sleeve retains its section right the way down and a flat stabilizer fitted to the top of the sleeve is also driven into the ground so the main plane of the stabilizer stands parallel to the longitudinal axis. Preferably several stabilizers are used, set in pairs at 90 deg or parallel to each other. The sleeve comes in off-round section with flat wall (3), this in turn broached (12) at the claw location. The claw consists of free outer and inner sectors along the sleeve and arranged to face each other so their free ends overlap and can be splayed out onto one another. The top end (2) of the sleeve acts as fence etc piece mounting or grouting receiver.
