Improved hosiery of the tights type which is formed from a bielastic fabric of decreasing compression in order to assist blood circulation and which has, in its upper zone, various reinforcement zones intended to mould the body. Said reinforcement zones are a waistband made from multielastic fabric and a band of double-elastic fabric which are arranged at the waist, a rear surrounding strip which lifts the gluteal muscles (buttocks), a holding-in front zone which exerts a pressure on the abdomen in order to flatten it, two progressive-decompression zones arranged respectively at the top of each thigh and a multicellular fabric zone arranged between the holding-in front zone, the surrounding rear strip and the zones of gradual decompression. <IMAGE>
