The straps (2,3) consist of a front foot strap (2) and an instep strap (3). They can be tensioned in their position corresponding to the closed position of the binding by a pedal (7) pivotable in common with the heel lever (5). The pedal is pivotable counterwise to the heel lever, and particularly is located on a pivot part (6) connected with the heel lever (5). Via the pedal a securing mechanism is operated. The rope (12,14) or similar is connected with a structural part (19) operable by the pedal and located on the base plate (4). The structural part is preferably displaceably arranged in relation to the base plate, and is formed as a pin, bolt or similar, which is displaceable in at least one guide (20) of the base plate, particularly in its longitudinal direction. |
