<p>A vehicle door lock having a cylinder and lever 4 for operating a locking lever of the lock, is so constructed as to facilitate installation. The lever includes a fork 5 in which a locking pin (7), aligned with the axis of the cylinder, is selectively engageable. On installation the pin is inserted in a recess in the periphery of the cylinder housing, and protrudes therefrom so that it is pushed radially outwards by the cylinder disengaging it from the fork.</p> |
